Can a featherweight kit car really hope to beat a Mercedes-AMG E63 S with more than 600bhp on tap?

The four-wheel drive Merc can manage 0-60mph in less than four seconds - but it does weigh about two tonnes.

The tiny MK kit car weighs about a quarter of that, and has two - yes, two - Kawasaki motorbike engines on its side. With a power to weight ratio of more than 670bhp per tonne, this is one race that could go either way.
